Where it works

Night scenes suit rooms you use in the evening. A moonlit marine in a bedroom, a study or a snug reads completely differently under lamplight than it does under a showroom spot — the darks recede and the reflected light on the water does the work.

Hang it away from direct daylight if you can. Strong sun flattens a low-key image faster than it flattens a bright one.
