Fleet Admiral Line is the top of the workshop — the longest build times, the highest fitting count, and the most experienced hands. Every element that would be simplified at smaller scale is built out in full here.
Construction
- XL plank-on-frame hull, hand-painted in Royal Navy black and yellow
- Three complete gun decks with individually fitted cast cannon and hinged port lids
- Three masts and bowsprit, full hand-knotted standing and running rigging with ratlines
- Hand-stitched linen sails on every yard
- Deep-carved and gilded stern gallery, quarter galleries, royal arms and figurehead
- Ship's boats on skids, capstan, wheel, binnacle, gratings, ladders and rails
- Metal anchors and wooden rudder
- Heavy solid wood base with engraved brass nameplate
- Fully assembled — arrives crated, ready to place

Measure the space first, including height for the masts and depth for the bowsprit and spanker boom. A piece this size ships on a pallet by freight.
The ship
The 104-gun first rate that led the British line at Trafalgar on 21 October 1805 with Nelson aboard. Launched in 1765 and in commission since 1778, she is the oldest commissioned warship in the world — preserved today in dry dock at Portsmouth.
