The larger Cuauhtémoc at 32 inches, rigged with a full sail set on every yard.
Four extra inches of hull buys a noticeably taller rig, and a full sail set roughly doubles the sailmaking work over a bare-yard model. On a barque — square-rigged on two masts, fore-and-aft on the third — that means two different sail systems, both built out completely.

The ship
Built at Bilbao in 1982 for the Mexican Navy and named for the last Aztec emperor, Cuauhtémoc trains naval cadets on extended ocean passages. Her gilded figurehead and white hull make her one of the most photographed vessels at international tall ship gatherings.
