Why two

A single hanger covers one station. Two lets you split by function or by room — one beside the changing table for nappies and wipes, one by the cot or the door for the things that get grabbed on the way out.

Hanging them as a pair on the same wall also works visually. Keep the gap between them narrower than the width of either, and align the tops rather than the bottoms.
