Handcrafted with rolling metal wheels and hand-painted finish, with exposed engine, seat, steering wheel, mudguards and the deeply treaded rear wheels of a working tractor.

The machine
Deutz built air-cooled diesels — no radiator, no water pump, no coolant to freeze or boil. For a farmer working alone in a cold field a long way from a mechanic, that mattered more than efficiency. The engines were noisier and thirstier than water-cooled rivals and they started in any weather.
The company traces back to 1864 and a partnership between Nicolaus Otto and Eugen Langen. Otto went on to invent the four-stroke cycle that every petrol engine still uses.
