Built on a 100% iron frame with rolling metal wheels, hand-painted with decal insignia. The details that matter are there: seats, steering wheel, dashboard, headlights, and a front bumper support welded rather than glued.

The car
Released in 1963 and bodied by the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, the DB5 evolved from the final DB4 series. The DB stands for David Brown, who owned Aston Martin from 1947 to 1972.
It has appeared in six James Bond films, starting with Goldfinger in 1964. The original screen car — ejector seat, revolving plates and all — was stolen from a Florida hangar in 1997 and has never been recovered.
