The ship that carried the Pilgrims to Cape Cod, rendered in wood by hand and delivered ready to display.
Built plank on frame from scratch — each hull plank laid over a wooden skeleton, exactly as period shipwrights worked. Hundreds of hours per model, hundreds of separate details, all fitted by hand in rosewood, mahogany, teak and other tropical hardwoods.

The voyage
The Mayflower left Plymouth, England on 16 September 1620 with 102 passengers aboard — her companion ship Speedwell having proved unseaworthy and turned back. Bound for Virginia, storms and navigational error pushed her north. On 21 November she rounded the tip of Cape Cod and anchored off what is now Provincetown, Massachusetts. No contemporary drawing of her survives. Best evidence puts her around 90 feet, three masts, two decks, roughly 180 tons.
